Drone Academy has implemented processes intended to protect user information and maintain security of data. Each account holder is assigned a password, which is required to access their account. It is your responsibility to protect the security of this login information. We have attempted to protect Drone Academy’s servers by locating them in areas with security procedures, use of firewalls and implementing other generally available security technologies. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data, but no guarantee can be made that your information and data will be secure from intrusions and unauthorized release to 3rd parties.
Drone Academy utilizes Google Analytics for the purposes of understanding user activity on our site.
As part of the Drone Academy services, we store the data you provide. We respect the privacy of all users, and consider all data that is collected to be private. Your information is used strictly for internal purposes, and Drone Academy will not distribute or sell your information to a 3rd party, except as disclosed in this statement. When you submit information, you are transferring such information into the United States and you hereby consent to such transfer.
We collect email addresses from those who contact us via email, and ask for information such as your email address and name when you sign up for an account with Drone Academy. The information we collect is not distributed or sold to a 3rd party. It will only be used to communicate with you about your Drone Academy account, and where needed as part of certain Drone Academy features. You may update your account information at any time.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Web Server Logs
For statistical purposes, Drone Academy will gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. These log files contain standard information collected by web servers, such as client IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), operating system, etc. This information is only used internally, and is not distributed or sold to a 3rd party. Drone Academy uses this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the Drone Academy website and app and to gather demographic information about its user base as a whole. Drone Academy does not link this automatically collected data to personally identifiable information.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
We collect information about you during the course purchase process (PayPal and/or Stripe), as well as information relating to your course progression and quiz performance.
What we collect and store
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

–Create your account for our LMS
If you register a free account then we will store your email address.
We store information about you for as long as your account exists.
We store course progress, including completion status, quiz scores, assignments and/or essay submissions (if applicable).
We will also store comments on courses, lessons, topics, assignments, and essays if you choose to leave them.
Who on our team has access
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Group Leaders can access:
–Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress and username / email address.
Any additional information added in your WordPress User Profile can also be visible to the administrator(s).
What we share with others
In this section you should list who you’re sharing data with, and for what purpose. This could include, but may not be limited to, analytics/reporting tools, marketing services (such as email services like MailChimp), payment gateways, gamification programs, and third party embeds.
We utilize WooCommerce for all of our transactions and accept payments through Stripe and PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe or PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

As a business service, Drone Academy does not target its offering toward and does not knowingly collect any personal information from, users under thirteen (13) years of age.
